Russian Mafia at Neah Bay

Had another great trip to Neah Bay.  Regular crew member Kevin joined me for the drive out and
we were met the next morning by the other members of the crew.  Now for those of you that do not
know my wife is from Russia.  Thus I know a number of Russians.  Well the three crew members
meeting us that morning were Russians.  Dennis has been on a number of trips with me.  He
brought along with him this time a friend of his, Alexander and Alexanders father, Sergay (Spelling
to be corrected when the wife get home.)  The interesting note was that they all wore black leather
coats and black watch caps.  They reminded me of mafia enforcers.  Thus the mafia angle.
Well we made it out to the "long hole" both Saturday and Sunday.  Limits of halibut to 35 lbs and
some nice lings.  I brought a ling to the deck around 35 lbs.  The water was great and the new crew
members were frosting on the cake.  Not a slacker in the bunch.  Smiling faces and hard work was
what I got from them.  We finished early Sunday and were on the road by noon.  Back home in time
to give "Just Keep Fishing" a good clean up.
