Well at last the weather seemed to be co-operating and so we made plans to go to Neah Bay and try and get
some white gold. Friday evening came around and we loaded up and took off. We did not get far! The right
side front brake line blew. It was late enough that there was no geting a new brake line that evening so we
limped home and put the boat back in her garage. The next morning I got on the phone and started calling
around and found a part. The problem was that it had already been promised to another guy. I sweet talked
the parts guy and finaly got him to give the brake line to me. We were on the road around 11am. I had two
guys in Neah Bay already waiting.
We had a good time fishing once I got there. Limits of halibut on the canadian side the next day with varying
other types fish. While out 50 miles on our halibut spot a boat came out. He called over to see how we were
doing. I called over and said this is "Just Keep Fishing". He came right back at me with: "The Tuna Guy?"
Well Top Notch out of La Push is my new good friend. He made my day. To be 50 miles out and meet
someone I do not know and they know who I was, well it was great!
